Anybody here using Virgin Coconut oil as health supplements or anything for maintenance?

I'm using it for my hair. It makes my hair shiny and soft.

That's nice info, thanks. VCO is really have many benefits. I ever told to drink coconut oil regularly, and I did it. I drink a spoon of VCO a day. It didn't feel tasty actually LOL, and I didn't notice any significant improvement in my body. Maybe it was because I just drank it for 10 days.

Can someone explain whats the difference in virgin coconut oil and ordinary coconut oil?

coconut oil is usually made from dried coconut (copra) .The copra is squeezed to get the oil.
Virgin coconut oil on the other hand is made either by extracting it from fresh coconut milk , or from fresh coconut as opposed to copra.

virgin oil goes through less processing and is considered to be of better quality and more pure than the non virgin oil

You can find a lot of serious and intelligent responses from me

yeah VCO is great! its is a good beauty regimen and at the same time good for your health. i don't think it has overdose because it is a herbal. the only thing is if you take it orally and you have it lots you may suffer loose bowel

I've also been using it on my hair. The first day after I do it, it just seems oily, but after I've washed it twice, it does make my hair shiny and soft. Plus is cheaper than some professional treatmentsl.

Who doesn't know ordinary coconut oil? and belonging to kakinada we make and natural coconut oil, and please make a note "Busy Bee", as Chokie mentioned as "Virgin" i had a doubt in my mind though i know that it's a coconut oil as she mentioned it as "Virgin Coconut Oil", first try to understand the post and reply it. I hope you won't mind.

You know "Farce" all coconut oils in kakinada are 100% VCO, why because we get naturally here, and never struggle for it, i think coconut oils in your place had sex already or will have sex because they'll be stored ones and are exported from our places, check out whether they are virgin or non-virgin.

Virgin is simply unadulterated .. i have posted what VCO is how it is made and all that.I was simply expressing my suprise that you who was from kakinada and a medical professional too didnt know that and asked where you can get it from ..

if they are all VCO then why did you ask where you can get it ?
