Do you like steamed vegetables? It is a very healthy way to cook them, they retain most of the vitamins. My husband loves them, but I have to admit I don't like cooked veggies, I prefer them fresh. The only thing I like that I make in the steamer is stuffed peppers.

Steamed vegetables are always good to have, its a healthy way of cooking them and they also contain all their vitamins and nutrients and also are very tasty to eat. They also compliment any side item.

Yes, I often use them as a side dish - steamed veggies go with anything, any main course. When we have company, I always make salads for those who prefer fresh vegetables and also steam some for those who like them cooked.

I do like eating steamed vegetables. The important fact is that the vitamins and minerals are still locked within them when steamed that brings out the flavor when you eat. This is healthier than stir-fried veggies because the stir-fried ones are loaded with fat and excess calories.

I honestly don't like eating vegetables in any kind of form, but I can't get around eating them. Are steamed vegetables fresher than the other kinds of preparation methods?
