I always buy watermellons in summer. When you take one right out of the fridge, it is so tasty and refreshing, and it does fill you up, too, so you are not hungry and you don't crave calories.

I would disagree with papaya. It is a 'heat' food. That's why
they don't recommend pregnant women to eat that.

i wouldn't disagree, but i would just say

Papaya contains a protein digesting enzyme called ‘papain’ and hence one of the best foods for digestion.

I know the good things about papaya. It is good for diabetics also.

It is just not recommended for pregnant women.

Lots of water intake. Guess that is really important! And all the things you suggested we're great! Watermelons are my favourite so juicy and refreshing.

Default Healthy foods during summer

As summer is at peak try to avoid more spice items and take more watery foods like watermelon, fruit juices, tender cocunut etc. Avoid packed drinks.

Drink more water, have fruits like watermelon, papaya, pineapple. These foods will give you more cooling to body. Tender coconut water will increase your hydration rate, so you will not feel tired often. So drink tender coconut water whenever you feel tired.

LOL Sweetz, that was one fruity weekend!

We are eating lots of fruit as well right now - apples, cherries, oranges. I found this unusually small oranges, they are sweet and very easy to peel. I only have two left, I need to go get more!
