Smile Medicinal Ginger

Ginger
Ginger has always been highly regarded for nits digestive properties in Indian cuisine. Adding ginger to pulses & beans when cooking makes them easily digestible and less annoying. Ginger plays a special role in reducing the swelling associated with arthritis.

I started a thread about ginger here a couple of weeks ago. It has all sorts of medicinal uses. One of the most talked about it helping with general stomach upsets and morning sickness.

That sounds really good. It's strange too, because I wouldn't think Ginger would do so much for our bodies. You guys are so smart

Ginger tea is good in controlling uric acid in our body. Ginger has other health benefits too. It can be used as medicine for coughs too.

Thank you very much for the interesting information. But I had read not long ago the information that the ginger influences in a positive way on the cardiac function. Is it the right information or the ginger has nothing in common with the cardiac function?

In India we make masala chai/tea which involves adding coarsely crushed ginger & lemon grass in boiling tea & sugar water. It tastes a bit different but quite pleasant taste.

I read in today's paper about how good it is to have ginger in your diet during PMS. It’s quite effective in handling stomach movements.
