Method of Sprouting
1. Rinse and wash the whole pulse three or four times to wash out the chemicals and pesticidies
2. Soak for 5-12 hours depending on the size. Change the water two or three times in between to wash out the complex carbohydrates that make them gassy. When the pulses are soft and swollen, rinse them two or three times with fresh-water.
3. Leave the pulses to sprout in a container that allows air and moderate sunlight. Alternatively, wrap loosely in a moist clean cloth and keep in a utensil, or put in a small cloth bag and hang in a suitable place. Do not keep in direct sunlight.
