It is commonly believed that animal proteins are superior to vegetable proteins. There is enough evidence to prove that vegetable proteins are also good in quality. In fact, leafy vegetables when taken with cereals, improve the protein quality of the latter by providing the amino acid components that cereals have in very little quantity. |
