Can anyone tell me what foods really help to bring down blood sugar in the human body? I really like sweets, but I want to eat foods that counteract this, too. (I don't want to give up sweets entirely.)

I'm not entirely sure, but I heard a doctor say that cinnamon was good for this. If you really want help, you should probably go to a site about diabetes. I'm sure they'll have a long list of foods.

In your case, fruits will be a good option. The sugar contained in fruits is safe and don't affect your blood sugar so much. Eating fruits, you still be able to enjoy sweet food without worrying too much about your blood sugar.

Fresh fruit are exactly what I use to help me curve my cravings for sweets. I get to eat sweets, and at the same time, I'm eating something that's good for me. Fruits help me to feel full because of the water that's in it.
