I'm not sure if there's a way to get rid of calluses completely. Maybe you'd be able to make them feel smoother, I'm not sure. I've had calluses on my hands for as long as I could remember. I think I got them from climbing the monkey bars at recess in grade school.

Prevention is better than cure when it comes to hand care. Always wear gloves when doing your housework. The callouses will soften if you use a hand cream on a regular basis. Try to find one that contains a large percentage of Aloe Vera, they tend to work best.

If you're not comfortable wearing gloves, calluses will always be your problem. But here's how to remove them naturally.

1. Wash hands with soap and lots of water.

2. Dissolve 2 - 3 tablespoon of baking soda to a luke warm water and soak your hands for at least 30 minutes.

3. Dry your hands using a towel.

4. Sprinkle cornstarch in the affected area.

5. Soak a piece of cloth/towel in vinegar and before you sleep, tie/tape the cloth in your hands.

6. When you wake up, remove cloth and calluses are removed.

7. Use a pumice stone to remove remaining dead skin.

I would advice taking better care of your hands from now on.. I know it's not fun and it feels weird to wear gloves, but it's good for you. Also, use lotion regularly

Try using Mary Kay's Satin Hands treatment for softening your hands.
