Default How to apply Nail Polish

Many people apply nail polish as if they are just painting the walls and end up in dirty and smudged effect. You can use a polishing board that has a soft foam layer. This will help your fingers to be firm and not shake will applying nail polish. First and foremost remove to remove the old nail polish if any from the fingers. Never apply a new shade or a coat on the already existing nail polish no matter how late you are getting. Apply only little polish. First apply at least one coat of clear nail polish so that the effect of the colored polish is beautiful. For any colored nail polish to be applied you need to use at least three coats. Apply the base coat and then put on the color coat. Give full time to your nail polish to dry so that it doe not smudge.

That's great advice! I've never used it, but I've recently started painting my nails again and I know what you mean.. it can get tough and somehow always seems to smudge. A lot of the time, I have my little sister help me apply it. Lol. I LOVE the clear polish, I think you're right, it really does make things very beautiful!!

Ive never been the one to apply in a good way and it always looks so un neat as compared to others! But thanks for the tips, will take them into consideration and it will hopefully make my nail polish to look good on my nails and also make it last with the three coats of layers tip.....thanks!

I've never had any problems applying nail polish; however, I have always had hard time keeping it on my nails. I tend to get them all chipped or sometimes even bite them off of my nails and all this in less than a day. Finally, I decided that there is no point in putting something on if it's not going to stay on, lol.

ButterflyEs's have you tried that has been posted by Beauty Info about applying three coats? Im sure it would last more than a day then, I would say maybe 4 days even!
