I just did something radical, and cut my own hair, it was getting really long, and I just decided to cut it one day. I didn't do a stella job, but I have had worse from a salon - anyone else out there cuts their own hair?

Yes I do cut my hairs some times, I trim my hairs myself when i don't get time to go to the parlour to keep them in shape, and i do this beautifully.

I usually cut my hair by myself.I don't prefer a parlor as they charge a lot and also i don't get satisfied by them.Nowadays parlors are money oriented only.

Once I had my son cut the back of my hair. It was too long and I couldn't get in for an appointment! I wasn't looking at the back of my hair, so it was ok with me the way he did it.

Sometimes i do cut my own hair if i dont have anything to do. I just cut it into V-shaped. And its ok also.

I cut my own hair most of the time as the hairdresser never seems to get it right. It's like they are always wanting to cut it shorter than you ask for and that really gets on my nerves. I have been cutting my hair for the past six or seven years and I think I do a great job

That's why I'd rather have my mom cut my hair even if she does it wrong I can tell her quickly. But then I just had a hair cut at the last april during my graduation. It looks good so I got some impression that I should go back to that salon again if I want another hair cut.

I always have my hair cut, when ever it grows long i cut it in a step wise U-shape and curl it up with the help of a dryer.

I just cut the end part of my hair once in a month. Because there will be a splitting hair at the end. It wont look nice. I never cut my beautiful hair otherwise.

Split ends are really annoying. I had those before it makes my hair look ugly and untidy. I heard it also prevents the hair to grow longer.

ya.. once my sister did and she just cut her hair in zig zag way and it looked different. But if she doesn't comb it and straighten it well, it looks horrible, then she made some corrections in the saloon.. to make it better.

You are very brave!! I would be too nervous to cut my own hair. I think I would mess it up. Good for you!!

yeah i agree with you on that also..maybe your hair is long and you had only to cut the edge of it?
