I agree, it is very important to know your hair type, and it takes some time to learn it. Teenage girls tend to copy hairtstyles they like without thinking whether their own hair will cooperate with the particular style. The same hairdo will look totally different on thick and fine hair.

| You are right, its not some girls, its many girls actually. But they tend to get used to frequent coloring of hair, so they never care about the product. But it is important to analyze a wide range of product and select the best one based on the chemical contents, its action on hair etc.
