You may be at work or out of the house and plans change to go somewhere else and you hairs a mess and doesn't look presentable. You wish you had been to the salon or even blow dryed it! But don't have time for any of that, well don't worry as just follow these quick hair fixes which will make your hair look presentable in just minutes. Short Hair For those who have short hair but are able to tie it up, simply bend your head forward and comb it back to front, this will give your hair a good bounce. However if your hair is short and at a length which it cant be tied up then just comb it in a wide stroke in the outwards direction. Medium Hair For hair at shoulder length or even slight longer, its always best to use a wooden brush or comb as this would not cause any extra frizziness which is generally caused by plastic combs or brushes. You should always keep a small bottle of dry shampoo with you, as you never know when you may need it. Dry shampoo will get rid of dull and limp hair. One of the best things of dry shampoo is it soaks up the greasness in your hair and that you don't need to wash your hair after applying it. For those who have curly or wavy hair simply wet it and use only your fingers to dry it and you will have neat looking curls. Long Hair Long hair can sometimes be the most difficult to manage, and one easy way to manage it by just clipping it up, like you would when going into the shower. Using serums is always good so if you have long hair make sure you keep it with you at all times, as this can smooth out any rough strands. Also having those small cordless Braun stylers with you, can always help you, add some quick curls or simply straighten out your frizzy hair. |

Well, my hair is too short to tie up and too long to just leave it loose - I am kinda in between hair cuts, so I just mousse it up a little to give it some volume while waiting for it to get long again - really hard to manage though |

I went to the hair dresser one afternoon. You know when you just feel yuk and have to try to do something about it. Sat in the chair and said I needed a change!!! I got it!! Went from long to short hair in 2 minutes flat. It was great to have a change and it was easy to look after at the start. However I noticed around 5 to 6 weeks I would have to get it trimmed again or else it was too difficult to keep the style right. I did that for a while and then gave up and let it grow mid length. Throwing it up is quick and easy. I don't have to be so regular at the salon either. |

Thanks for these tips Harpreet, although I go to work with my hair neat and tidy, but sometimes it gets into a big mess. There's been times when meetings have also been announced and Ive been stuck and have had to go with hair looking not so neat. But I'm sure even if i use one tip which you have given I can have presentable hair in no time. |

I have longer hair, too, and the quickest solution for me is a ponytail (simple or a little more sophisticated, with a twist that makes it look rather fancy) or hair pulled up and fixed with a large hairclip.
