My daughter hates to pull her hair back. The solution, we had it cut in the style where it is shorter in the back and then a little longer on the sides. I thought this was a good solution, but still the front gets in her eyes when she is playing. We tried bangs...not fun! Any cute short styles for girls? |

Why not clip the bangs back with a barrette. Then when she wants them down she can have them down. I think the style you explained is perfect. Longer on the sides, shorter (stacked) in the back. Tuck the longer pieces behind her ear. Pull up the sides when she is playing.

A couple of nice clips to grab back the sides would be handy while she is playing or plait the sides and clip them back ?

I cannot even get my daughter to consider getting her hair cut short. Her hair is right down her back but she likes having it in lots of different clips and styles.

I've had longer hair as long as I can remember, so I can't offer any good advice on this one. As a girl, I wore my hair in a ponytail or braided. I did not mind having it pulled back. I think you have chosen a great haircut for your girl though. |

What does she hate about pulling it back.. Have you tried pulling it back in different ways? Maybe putting in twisties or ultra-cute barrettes? Maybe she hates it straight back, but there are a lot of ways that it can be kept out of the eyes.

hi, i have some Tips on Children's Hairstyles: For young girls, keep it simple or tied up because hair can easily get tangled up when they are out playing. Brush and wash children's hair because they often get knotted and dirty because of all the activities kids do everyday Teach your kids good hair care habits Keep hats, caps, and other accessories at a minimum as it tends to mess of hairstyles... ______ zen |

| I think the best option would be like everyone has been saying, putting clips in her hair. That way, she can still have the cute style she has now, and not always have her hair getting in her eyes |

a really nice hair clip is a good solution, and how about a cool headband on other days. Like a clip on a mondays and a head band on a tuesday. that way, she got different styles each day. Haven't really experience it though bcause I don't have a daughter, but I see it on the kids outside and they look good
