Default Hair that easily tangles

My hair can be terrible when it comes to tangling, especially after being washed. I don't know what I'd do without conditioners, it would be so hard to brush my hair. Do you use any de-tangling products?

I use a de-tangling spray for my daughter, she has very long hair and it works a treat.

I also have a de-tangling comb made specifically for long hair, but I bought it years ago from the Avon lady!

My daughter has hair that gets into terrible tangles. I have to condition her hair every night or she is crying when I try to comb her hair out.

I would love to try a detangling brush? What makes it different from a regular brush?

I am curious about the de-tangling comb as well!

I'll need to check out the spray. My hair is below shoulder length right now, so regular conditioner helps, but since I intend to let it grow longer, I might need some extra help.

Well, I found a few reviews for you about the Avon de-tangling comb on a website so I have placed the link here. I hope it helps with your questions.

Hi. Thanks. I checked out the link...the price seems reasonable considering the reviews...I have long hair too and combing my hair is like a real chore because of the tangles.

That used to be my problem too. I had to experiment on different hair conditioners but none of it worked. My last resort was to seek professional help and now I love my crowning glory. Quite expensive but I had to shell out extra money because I am working in a service oriented environment where I get to talk to different clients everyday.

My hair tangles easily, but I find that if I condition it well and comb it while it's wet, it untangles easily. When I was little, my parents used to use a spray bottle to wet the tangles then run a comb through it. This was quite efficient AND cost effective

I've got such thin but tons of hair. My hair is the same- it tangles all the time. I'll get out of the shower after using conditioner and I have snarls. I hate it.

I find that when I keep it shorter (hair) I have less problems. I also use a leave-in conditioning spray a lot. I've tried a lot of them and I usually just buy whatever is on sale.

There are some great products on the market for detangling the hair, alot of them are not too harsh on the hair and can be used regularly. I find too much conditioner makes the hair greasy, where as with detangling products it is easier to comb through and much better on the hair.

Yes, I have noticed it as well that applying a lot of conditioner can make the hair greasy. Some conditioners are better than others, but you still shouldn't over-apply them.

Paul Mitchel makes a really good conditioner for "fine thin hair" . If you use this, it will help with the tangles, but won't make your hair greasy!

When I was younger I had the same type of hair, really wispy and horribly tangled. This is what my mom did with my hair. First after I took a bath she put Johnson and Johnson kids detangling hair spray (not like real hairspray). The she let my hair air dry then she combed it with a detangling comb (wide-toothed). Then she took the top half of my hair and put it into a half ponytail and then she put more spray on the bottom half of my hair and then let it sit and just combed the bottom hairs. That hairstyle really kept a bunch of my hairs from getting tangled into one big mess and she can wear it all the time. Plus, you can use the hair spray for detangling at any age.

Default Hair that easily tangles Hair that easily tangles

hi,
a tip for u...
Keep Your Hair Tied Up
The looser your hair is, the more chance it has to become tangled and damaged by rubbing against your clothes, getting caught under handbag straps and blown about in the wind. Braids are a perfect way to keep hair from tangling. Practice braiding your hair at night until you get the hang of it—'sleep braids' don't have to be perfect, and are a wonderful way to protect hair from tangles while you toss and turn. Once you've mastered the techniques, braids can be worn in endless combination's and styles during the day.

Yeah every time I use conditioner it leaves a greasy feeling like it wasn't thoroughly washed. I think my hair doesn't like some conditioners because some makes my hair more unmanageable.

I have a very long hair without tangles, surprising, isn't? I wash my hair alternate days in the morning, the night before washing i apply oil nicely and massage my hair, comb for sometime, after having my hair washed i throughly apply a good lakme conditioner, after letting my hair dried, comb my hair with big toothed comb, that's all, try this method and you will be satisfied.

I have tried some detangling products which are available in the market. All are good only and the price also very less. Any one can affordable to buy and use.
