My mom always taught me to wash my hair before my body in the shower, because that way you don't have excess shampoo and conditioner on your body, because it can lead to pimples.

I agree, it is a standard procedure that you clean from head to toes. It means that you clean first your head, then your body last is your legs.

Here's some more info: If you have athletes foot then peeing on your foot
in the shower helps. I had heard it before but a doctor recently confirmed
it on the Rachel Ray show ;-)
