Oh I hate the smell of beers I'll let my hubby try it since he loves drinking beer although I doubt that he's gonna waste some just to be used as a conditioner lolz.

Back when I first tried curling my hair, I was frustrated that the curl didn't last very long. Mom suggested that I use some beer to wet the locks before putting curlers on (I used water before). I tried that, and it did work! The curl was tighter and laster longer. I have not been doing it regularly though, I don't like the smell of beer.

I wonder what it is in the beer that makes your hair cling together.. I'm sure there are other random drinks that would work just as well..

I don't think I would want the smell to be on my hair all day. It might give the wrong impression at work and church. LOL!

Well, when I used beer for curling, I only smelled it in the process, not afterwards. When my hair was done, there was no beer smell. It is different than drinking beer.
