I think dreadlocks look pretty trashy and it's weird that you aren't able to clean them. I couldn't have them personally, because it would just feel weird, and I wouldn't wanna ruin my hair. What about you?

Actually, that's not true at all. First, dreadlocks aren't trashy. I think that's a little offensive to the people who wear them. Second, there are a lot of people who wash their dreadlocks, so they can be very clean. I've seen several people wear them, and I find them interesting.

I didn't mean to offend anyone. I hope I didn't!! That's just my first impression. I've just never really been around anyone who had them. They are pretty interesting, I must agree.

Not my thing. I certainly would not wear them myself, and I don't like seeing them on others. It's just not what I would call a neat hairdo. Interesting, maybe. But more on the "weird" side.

Have any of you seen clean dreadlocks? Those are the best kind and can make a man or woman look quite intelligent. If you keep them groomed, they'll look nice. Thinking that all dreadlocks are dirty or messy is a common misconception.

| I haven't but I'll have to look that up. I can't help but think of the dirty ones. I guess I got that idea from TV.
