Post What should I use for my hair?

I have perfect curls, but my hair is so thick. The curls are way too big! Because of this, I straighten my hair, but all of my friends scrunch there hair once in a while and it looks wet the entire day. I'm wondering what product would be best to tone down my hair [make it less thick] and keep that scrunched wet look all day?

Well you shoud be glad to have heavy hair, as many people want to have heavy hair!

I dont know about the products, as generally you find products to make hair look heavy and give it volume and there is not much seen to make it less heavy, although you could try going to a salon and asking the professionals.

Another idea to make your hair with using products is by getting some layers put in your hair, which will make your hair lighter, (most people who have heavy hair get layers done, as it gets rid of the heavyness and also adds a new look to their hair).

Lxbelle31 seems like you prefer curls from straighening your hair, so i would go with what Harpreet has written, get layers in your hair, as this will lighten your hair and it will allow you to put curls in them, scrunch your hair up and also straigthen it at anytime, which will look good in any style.

Remember layering doesnt mean having short hair, you can also keep your lengh the same and still have layers done.

Yes, having thick curly hair is a blessing! I do all kinds of tricks to make my straight hair look full and wavy. For someone like you, I would suggest to first find an ideal haircut that would take some of the hair mass away (how about bangs?); secondly, products like John Freeda's Frizz Ease that make the curls smooth and manageable.

Every women like to have long and thick hair but curls are different because it is too hard to maintain..To maintain it we can apply natural oil, It gives shiny effect..

For some reason I find thick hair to be tiring when it comes to hair styling. When it comes to salons they charge way to high if the hair volume is heavy but on the bright side it does look good on people. I apply vitress to my hair when I feel like it's so dry to give it a wet look.

I would suggest you that.. curl hair are one of the best good looking part of a women. So never try to straighten it, when you forcedly straighten it with heating device, your hair may get damaged. so apply some kind of hair oil and just leave the hair just like that.. you would look cute.
