Red and brown are the common trendy shades. Experts suggest that brown and golden are best for wheatish skin tones. Whereas reddish or purple shades are most suitable for fair skinned people.

Hmm I used to have brown shades for my hair about the golden never thought of it yet. I think reddish is more suitable to me.

My hair is brown, sometimes I color it into a reddish tint. It looks good on me. I have never tried going blond or black, that would be too radical of a change. My husband does not think black would work for me.
