Hair Care -Brush your hair regularly before going to bed each night. -Wash your hair with a mild shampoo. Use very little but enough to cover hair completely with lather. Use a conditioner to keep hair manageable. -Avoid brushing wet hair. This will cause the hair to stretch and finally break. Finger-dry, or use a wide-toothed comb instead of a brush to gently remove the knots. -Restrict blow-drying your hair. The process of blow-drying is harsh on hair as it robs it of moisture. |

Excellent tips, however I was always convinced that overbrushing the hair can cause damage rather than do the hair any good. Do you know if this is true?

Over brushing does cause damage. I use a shampoo that really makes my hair very soft and silky.. just another tip

A good shampoo that your hair loves will do wonders. Also, it helps to alternate between 2-3 different brands of shampoo - if you keep using the same one all the time, the hair might get used to it and stop responding so well.

Lately my hair really feels stiff in the morning. I do brush before bedtime I think it's just because I move a lot while sleeping making my hair so confused.
