Sometimes it's quite embarrassing to know that you have developed some little devils underneath your beautiful hair, i mean to say "Lices", especially at an elder age. So to keep such problems away, first step is to take regular head bath. If the problem persists, use medicated products with doctors prescription and stay clear of them.

Hi, Combing hair with fine toothed comb was the way to remove lice. Now the easiest way to remove lice is to dissolve perlice cream in water just enough to wet your hair pour on the hair and let it remain for 10 mins then shampoo, lice will be gone but be sure to repeat it every fortnight for 2 months. |

There would be no room for lice in clean hairs. So wash often. Also, if they persist, there is an available lice shampoo now in the market. Apply some on for some minutes before rinsing. Avoid staying out under the sun without any cap or umbrella.

It's a common myth that lice are attracted to dirty hair. They like clean hair and healthy scalps. There are many shampoos that are available to get rid of them, though you should always use the shampoo on the whole family to avoid passing them around. There are also electric combs that you can buy which zap the lice and you just comb them out - though I think I prefer the shampoo. As someone who remembers getting head lice as a child, it's best to treat straight away as they can be very uncomfortable. As for avoiding hugging, head lice are just an unfortunate fact of life when children come together and so the best thing to do is just be vigilant and get rid of them when they appear. |

i used to have lice when i was schooling. i used a very fine tooth combed to get rid of them(and played a game ...made the blood suckers fight each other before killing them...gross, i know. i was young)...cleaning your hair often is good advice especially since you may get the lice from someone else like i did...so, frequent use of shampoo is a good idea |

| Do not get much closer to them, Its always possible for spreading of head lice from others when you go get closer, when you hug them for a time. And do not use the pillows they used, That is very important.

| I used to get Lice all the time as a kid. I remember one month, I had them 6 times, because we had a lot of people in our family and when I'd get rid of them, someone else got them and then I got them again. It is nooooo fun!! I have an itchy scalp as it is, because my skin is very oily, so you add Lice to the mix and it just drives me crazy. Just TALKING about lice makes my head itch lol. Luckily, I haven't had them since I was a kid *crosses fingers* |
