I have been thinking about lightening my hair using lemon juice and the power of the sun. I've found lots of 'how to's' on the Internet, I was just wondering if anyone here had tried it and if it actually does work.

That's interesting. I have not heard of lightening hair with lemon juice, but I think it might work because I have noticed that lemon juice has some color reducing effect. For example, if I put a slice of lemon in a cup of strong, dark tea, it instantly loses a lot of color.

I've never thought of doing that before. Does anyone know exactly how that works as in the process that the hair goes through to get lighter? If you don't like the color, what do you do then?

My friend did that and she says it really works. I think it's really interesting. Tell me how it works out for you
