I don't agree with your quote. They work pretty much the same way and you are basically paying for the name when you're purchasing the high end one. Besides, your posting is contradictory as you are referring to a hair straightener and dryer at the same time. I'm sorry but it doesn't make any sense at all.

It is simply a matter of money.

I don't care that my hair takes that little bit longer to dry, and after all, with a top brand product you are paying for the label as opposed to the product.

I agree with you both. To have healthy hair, you should not be even drying your hair with a high heat. It does take longer, but it is much better for your hair.

I think I already mentioned that my newest hairdryer was free when I purchased a hair color, and it works just fine.

I think the hair care products that we use at home are just as good as the ones that the professionals use. It is still a good idea to go and have a professional work with your hair every once in a while.

I don't think hair straighteners are very good for your hair. They burn it and can cause split ends if you use them too much. That's just what I've heard. I don't use anything like that and everyone's always complimenting me on my hair and how healthy it looks. My little sis and my mom use straighteners daily and their hair just doesn't look as nice. It really does do damage
