Has anyone tried getting hair extensions? Did you like it? I have never done it, and I am curious to know how it is done. Judging by photographs, it gives a very natural look of long hair. So do they glue some extra hair on you or what?

I have never had them done, but I think they wrap and fix the strands into your roots a little bit at a time.

I have found a british based website that does do it yourself clip in extension, but I don't know how good they are.

Oh never tried this one. My aunt was trying to get some but I think she forgot about it now. It's kinda expensive getting a hair extension.

I've noticed a few different ways to do it since I've been watching videos today. (You got me really curious about this) Some people sew it in, others braid/kind of tie it in. Hard for me to explain.. it's all new to me.

That's a good video! So they braid in strands of hair... You can see the girl's real hair length, if you look closely. I hear that you can wash and style this extended hair as you would your own! How cool.

It's really amazing. I guess I always thought it was really messy or something. When you mentioned glue, I really had no idea lol.. I thought maybe that's what they did..
