Your hair needs a lot of attention and care when they are wet. First washing them well is very important. Apply a good shampoo that suits your hair type and always rinse off your hair after the wash with a good conditioner. Do not be harsh to your hair when they are wet. They are very delicate when wet. As when they are wet they are more likely to break. Wet hair also causes split ends. So avoid combing or brushing your hair when they are wet. Like many people do, do not twist your hair up into a towel when your hair is wet. But use a towel gently on your hair to squeeze them and dry them. Let them dry naturally.

I agree with what Bhavana said, wet hair tends to give bad odour if ignored, so more care should be taken for wet hair, if it wet by rain or ordinary water it should be cleansed thoroughly, and also should apply conditioner.

It is true, we need to be gentle and careful with our hair after washing. I always use conditioner, so the hair is not tangled and is easier to brush. I also try to let my hair air dry rather than blow dry it - blow drying dries it out too much.
