I've heard about all kinds of things that can help the hair like fruit and even mayonnaise. Can honey have the same effect on the hair or at least the scalp?

| I've heard that it can, but I'm not sure.. it seems like it would damage it to me, because it's so sticky. I've heard a lot of good things about honey though..

Maybe it could, however I think honey would be a total nightmare to try and wash out. I would imagine you would need to use very hot water to get it all out, and that's not too kind on your hair.

Honey seems like it would be super difficult to get out. Personally, I use cocoanut oil, I have to shampoo twice, but it comes out and makes my hair soft.

I know that honey can be difficult, but what if it was used as an ingredient in addition to something else? Do you think that would make honey less difficult to work with?
