Default Oily scalp

Not only the skin but our scalp is sometimes oily too. Some people face the oily scalp all through the year while there are some who get to tackle this problem during winters. People mostly are more cautious and aware about the oily skin and in return the oily scalp always gets neglected. People also avoid oil massages on oily hair but an oil massage is very good for hair and scalp. Oil massage not only nourishes your hair but also improves blood circulation and is very relaxing. But remember in case of oily hair do not go for a hair massage for more than one time in a week. Leave the oil in you hair from 45 minutes to 1 hour and then wash your hair with a shampoo that is meant for oily hair. It is equally important to condition you hair.

So, we don't want to have a dry scalp, but we don't want to have an oily scalp, either? Sometimes it's so hard to get our hair just right because our hair needs to have enough moisture, but not be too dry, either.

My scalp, as well as my face, tends to be very oily. I combat this by taking a shower everyday/every other when I'm lazy I've never used any kind of special products, but I'm sure the nearest salon would have something in mind. I wouldn't advise buying from them though because it can get very expensive

I have that problem, too, and for me, it feels like a constant battle for the perfect balance. Sometimes, I try not to try to hard. If my scalp is oily, or if it's dry, then sometimes I will give up.

Good topic. My hair was oily when it was longer, I hated it. But now that I have a chopped cut it gets too dry! Go figure.
