You hair needs oil and moisture regularly. Or else they will become dry and look damaged. So at least once a week oil your hair well and leave it over night or for a couple of hours on before shampooing. Even when you are oiling your hair massage it smoothly into your scalp. Do not be too harsh to your hair while oiling them. And to moisture your hairs like the rest of your body treat them with hot oil. It is advised to have a hot oil treatment once a week or at least once a month. You can do this at home and it will be keep your hair soft, with shine and prevent dry hair and split ends. You can also use a good conditioner to moisturize your hair.

I also have been told not to completely rinse off the conditioner in order to keep hair hydrated. When this is done, the hair remains very soft and shiny.

| It also seems that if you leave the conditioner on for a few minutes, then it has a stronger effect on the hair rather than if you just put it on and rinse it off as soon as you are done putting it on. I have to have conditioner for my hair.

| If I don't apply hair coloring to my hair, it stays hydrated without the conditioner but as soon as I color it, it becomes dry like straw. Then I really need the conditioner in my hair too.

I have been told by a hairdresser that I should rinse my hair thoroughly after putting conditioner on it to prevent hair fall.

Oh well. Neither do I know which one is reliable. Others say that it's shampoo that causes hair fall, not conditioner. Very confusing!!!
