Default Treat Dandruff for healthy hair

Dead cells growth on the scalp is dandruff. Improvement in eating habits is its best treatment. Clean your hair and scalp regularly as it avoids accumulation of dead cells. Brush your hair thrice or twice in a day to improve circulation. At least thrice a week wash your hair and rinse with water thoroughly. Consult a good dermatologist to get the right kind of shampoo for your hair. Apply antidandruff herbal hair tonic daily. Go in for hot oil therapy. Once or twice a week apply at night on scalp hot olive oil or sesame seed oil, leave on overnight. Apply lime juice on the scalp next morning and after half an hour wash it to have bouncy clean and healthy hair.

Do you happen to know of other ways instead of by using chemical-heavy shampoos to get rid of dandruff? I bought Head and Shoulders for a few times, but I'm not sure if it really did the job.

For me, washing my hair more often and really scrubbing my scalp very well helps. I used to have it pretty bad. Never had to use a special kind of shampoo or anything

I think hot oil really helps to keep you from getting dandruff on your hair scalp. I am glad that I do not get much dandruff because I am using hot oil treatment as my conditioner every 3days

The key to treating dandruff is finding out what is causing the dandruff. Once you know the cause you can treat it. Dandruff could be caused by the shampoo that you use. If that is the case merely changing shampoo will stop the problem. Dandruff can also be caused by various skin conditions. You may have to visit a dermatologist. If you find that your dandruff is worse during certain times of the year then that information can also help to find a treatment that works.

I get really bad dandruff during the winter. Infact I get dry skin over the majority of my body when the weather turns colder, but that is easily rectified with moisturisers.

I don't know what I can do about my dry scalp, I seem to have tried everything.
