Default Women Balding

It's very commonly known that a lot of men go bald or lose some of their hair. Well, I'm curious, how likely is it for a female to go through the same thing? Does it happen very often?

Let me know if it's happened to you or anyone you know.. and I'm also curious around what age something like this may happen?

The thought of losing my hair scares me really bad!! I mean, hair means a lot to women. It would be very sad!!

haha. When Britney Spears shaved her head, I was just like, WHAT????

My mother-in-law isn't completely bald, but after she had her second child, she lost alot of her hair and it is so thin that you can see her scalp no matter how she tries to style it. I don't think it is a very common thing though.

I don't think baldness is commmon in women, unless you have an illness that would make your hair fall.

Well, my cousin of about 19 years old almost lost her hairs because of putting coconut oil in her hair everyday. I think the coconut oil almost burned her hair due to daily use. We were really shock to see her hair almost losing and there's only a dozen or two left, its reallly really thin. Thanks goodness it was recovered when we tell her not to place oil for 2 or more months.

Really? I was all about thinking that coconut oil is best for your hair protection as what my grandma did most of the time. Luckily she didn't experienced any hair loss besides she got a long black shiny hair. Maybe I could say that it will depends upon everyone's scalp/hair type. Anyhow it's nice for him/her to stop using it.

@Joyjoy789 Hmmm... I've never heard of anything like that happening. That's interesting. I bet it's pretty rare

@selene I think it must be cuz I don't think I've ever even seen a balding woman

@moonshaneisle omg!! good thing it came back. I was like "19?!?!?!" I can't imagine. A girls hair means a lot. I can't imagine what I would do if that happened. I would feel terrible and be so embarrassed

@nhel4real I agree with you. I mean, maybe it was some kind of weird allergic reaction or something.. who knows.. wow! This is just blowing my mind right now

Maybe coconut oil really gives excellent effects to one's hair but do not use it in a daily basis. Twice or thrice a week will do.
