Default Split Ends

I am experiencing hair split ends. I keep on trimming it just to take away the dry and split ends. Sometimes it's really annoying that just for 2-3 weeks I need to trim it again. Do you have any idea how to control my split ends?

Do you brush your hair a lot? Maybe you have a rough brush that tugs at your hair? Do you curl your hair or straighten it alot? Those are all things that could cause split ends..

During night time I usually brush my hair several times. Does the type of brush really matters? I never curls my hair because I have it originally, instead I straighten it every after six months.

Whenever I have split ends, I would trim my hair immediately. Brushing the hair would be very helpful. Use natural products for your hair like aloe vera. Do you apply conditioner? It could be helpful in protecting your hair from being damage.

The lady who cuts my hair told me conditioner is important in keeping your hair healthy and so it doesn't dry out

You should brush your hair gently to avoid breaking. Broken ends cause ends to split. You should use a wide toothed-comb to de-tangle your hair especially if it is long. Then you can use the brush after you have de-tangled your hair. Never use a brush if your hair is tangled.

brushing the hair gently will really help. also, don't brush your hair too much when it is wet. better let it dry first using a dryer or just in front of the electric fan.

What you can also do to aoid any more split ends would be to have your hair cut every 2-3 months. Don't have it cut short, just a little trim on the edges like an inch or two will help. This method works for me because my hair grows healthier and with lesser split ends.

I have the same problem. Since I had my hair rebonded, I started to have hair split ends. I hate it, but I couldn't find any way but to trim it down. I used conditioners to prevent it to recur again but they don't seem to work.

this is a common tip, not only to avoid split ends but also to have a healthier hair. my mother keeps on telling me this when I was younger. but can't seem to follow wholeheartedly and upon reading this I think I need a hair cut
