We go to the salon thinking that we will come out with a hairstyle that the Divas own but in return we land up with haircuts that do not suit us at all. Do not worry we all face a bad haircut some time or the other in our lives and celebs are no exceptions to this. You may feel like hiding from the world. Let us suggest you few tips to help you survive a bad haircut. What you can do is wear a nice hair or a cap to hide your hair. A Scarf can do the magic too. Tie your hair up in a beautiful scarf. You need to be smart enough to tell people that you have got a latest hair cut.

| This reminded me: my mom always had BEAUTIFUL hair that ran all the way down her back.. I'll NEVER forget this one time she went in to get her hair trimmed and they cut it all the way up to her EARS! I saw it happen. I think the lady was jealous of her hair to be honest. It was soooo sad. I bet the look on my face was priceless. I was in COMPLETE shock! My mom tipped her still! I would have never!!! |

Although you maybe able to wear a hat and hide the bad haircut, but you cant wear the hat all the time, I would suggest you get your hair cut again from a better and professional place so it looks more suitable. |

I think communication is very important when getting a haircut. You really have to tell the stylist what you want. AND you have to watch what he/she is doing so you won't be shocked with the outcome. |

Don't ever tell your hairdresser you are happy with her work if you are not. I am sure most salons have a policy to try repair any problems if they were drastic enough. I agree with the previous poster about communication. Another thing I always do is take a photograph of the hairstyle I want into the salon with me. |

But even when you bring a picture of the style you want to have, stylists sometimes tend to go with their own judgment and disregard your wishes. It has happened to me a couple of times and I was really furious. Given the fact that they were short cuts, they couldn't really do anything to fix it but they felt bad enough that I got exactly what I wanted after those two occasions.

I think that it takes time to find a hair dresser that understands your hair texture and how you like it styled. If you ask a beautician for a certain style and he or she does not give you that style then you should ask that it be redone or do not pay.

Yes, it's important to have good rapport and communication with your hair stylist. Explain what you want and then ask her/him to go slow and gradual, if possible, so that if mistakes are made, they're not too great. Some stylists may feel that tis is taking too much of their time, but if they're not willing to satisfy you, their client, then you know thats not the stylist for you.

I did get a bad haircut not too long ago. It was last year and I am still trying to recover from it! I wore a baseball cap around for a long time. Then I went to get it fixed and they had to cut it even shorter to make it even! I am finally out of that stage with this last haircut I got. It is really bad when you ahve to get it cut over and over jsut to fix a bad cut. |

The best way to face this kind of problem is go into another salon again. I am pretty sure someone can fix that. Maybe they will do another style a little closer to what you had or maybe they will suggest for other treatment like hair spa, hair dye or hair rebond so that bad hair day will turn into a fabulous one.
