We are always confused as to what is the type of our skin and hair. It is only once we realize the type of our hair can we take the required care of them. To check what type of hair you have first shampoo your hair a day in advance. Then take a tissue paper or a butter paper and press it on the centre of head and behind the ears. If you see that there is oil on the tissue paper or the butter paper then it means that you have oily hair and if you do not see any oil then it is clear that you have dry hair. Generally people with dry skin have dry hair, while people with normal skin have normal hair and people with oily skin have oily hair. Oily hair becomes greasy after two days of shampooing and in some cases people are required to shampoo their hair everyday. Where as dry hair look dull and are very difficult to manage after shampoo. Dry hair also tend to break easily and have split ends.

nice tips! I will try it and see what my hair is. For dry hair, do you know any tip on how to treat it aside from choosing shampoo for dry hair? Or do you know any shampoo brand that is great to use? Once a friend introduce me the shampoo for I think horse's hair, I have used it but suddenly I saw my hair getting dry. So sad.

Wow thanks for the info!! ya, I definitely have oily hair AND skin. It's pretty annoying. I get overheated so easy and I just feel so gross after spending ONE day in the sun hahaha
