Default Tangled Mess

During the summer I'm really lazy about my hair. I wash it and because of the heat I comb it very quickly and then put it up in a loose bun to get it off my face. I don't have an air conditioner so my apartment is very hot.

Of course now my hair is a real tangled mess and I need some ideas on how to get the tangles out.

Does abyone know of a good way to smooth out my hair again without it taking hours sitting in my hot apartment with a comb and brush. Just the thought of all my hair in my face and on my neck in this heat is enough to make me faint.

Just what I have read in one of the posts here, try a hot oil treatment. Use one with jojoba oil or avocado then cover your it with shower cap for 30 mins. Try it.

You should comb your hair properly before tying it into buns. I always tie my hair since it's so hot around here and when I remove the buns it's still tangle free.

Were you able to try using hair conditioner? If you haven't, you may apply this after you shampoo. This would really helps you smoothed and conditioned your hair.

I have found that using a good conditioner after I wash my hair makes a huge difference - the hair is much, much easier to comb or brush. There are also hair detanglers that you can spray on your hair before combing, they help a lot as well.

Yeah conditioners really makes our hair silky smooth which makes it easy to comb. I can even use my fingers to comb it without getting it stuck.

Take down your hair at least twice a day and brush it. I've had the same trouble and when it's hot, it just becomes soooo easy to put it up, take it down briefly and then put it right back up again. Take a few moments to brush it before putting it back up and all should be good.

For now though, since it's tangled, take a shower and put a TON of conditioner on it. That's always worked for me.

Best of luck!!!

You say your hair is tangled... But do you also have split ends? Had nasty split ends, I needed to cut my hair short.
