Default Intake of vitamin C and its effects

Adequate intake of vitamin C is critical to the function of the sebaceous glands.

Inadequate vitamin C intake can result in hair that easily breaks and splits.

It doesn't take much to get necessary amounts.

Good vegetarian sources include oranges and real fruit juice, kiwifruit, red (or green) peppers and broccoli.

I guess I will have to pay more attention to my vitamin C intake, as I have been losing quite a lot of hair lately and it also seems to be a little dry with some split ends. Thanks for the tip!

oh, so vitamin c is good for the hair also. I used to take vitamin C, but lately I stopped drinking it. I guess I need to take vitamin c again because I already see some split ends on my hair.

I always heard that Vitamin C was good for fight off colds and illnesses. I had never thought it about helping hair. I might have to start taking Vitamin C. Right now, I've just been taking a daily multi-vitamin.
