Default This is for Flyaway hair.

Flyaway hair: Mix 1/2 mashed avocado with 1 tablespoon mayonnaise and apply to just washed hair. Leave on 10 minutes then rinse thoroughly. You can use this once a week.

Mayo on the hair? That sounds a little greasy to me... Is the mixture easy to wash off?

Layla, from what I understand, flyaway hair is very light, fluffy strands that tend to fly around your face rather than stay in place.

I think mayo will be a bit of an extreme solution to the problem. On the other hand, mayo has done a lot of good things for my hair, a little like a do-it-yourself conditioner.

I think mayo only will do, I've tried it once and its good. I haven't tried the one with avocado, maybe it's great also coz avocado is also good for the hair especially the dry one. But i have read that it's not good for hair that undergone color treatment. It will make your hair look faded.

One thing more, Others use ceramic hair iron. It will make your hair look straight and manageable. Tangles no more.

I don't think a ceramic hair iron will do my hair very much good, but I am interested in using some avocado (and maybe a little guacamole). I don't know if I could get a hold of some avocadoes at a cheap price. At least with mayo, I can get some packets at a fast food restaurant.

yeah it is really true , using mayo on your hair will make it shine because mayo has an egg main ingredients, but you have to leave it on your hair for a coule of minute or overnight for a better result

Wow an avocado with mayo on hair sounds yummy to me. My hair goes fly away sometimes especially after my hair was tied up for a long hour.

It's good to hear that we could actually straighten flyaway hair. I would usually trim it. By the way, other than the avocado, what other fruits could be use an alternative?
