A daily 5-10-minute head massage can promote blood flow to the scalp, enhancing the quality of your hair. Using your fingertips, work over the surface of the scalp, temples and back of the head, applying pressure in circular movements.

Our hair stylist always massages the scalp before she does anything else with the hair. After she washes the hair, she does that for everyone and suggests that we do it everyday to our scalp as well. It felt really good when she was doing it but I find it to be too much work and don't bother with it.

I don't know whether I believe it... I mean, massage is probably good to keep your hair in good shape - to keep what you've got, so to speak. But making it better and fuller? I don't know. We are born with a certain number of hair, of certain thickness. You can't really change that.
