do you really think that cutting your hair because of split ends help in hair growing. i don't agree because hair grows from the root of it and not at the split ends. |

I understand your point, but split ends make your hair look dry and damaged. I think it's more to do with the fact that your hair looks unhealthy and regular cutting help maintain shine and strength.

You need to remember as well that when hair splits severely it breaks of at the damaged point so in one day it could lose three months' worth of growth. Your hair will grow overall but the ends will have an uneven length and won't look like it's growing well because of this.

I think that cutting the split ends helps keep your hair healthy. You want to get rid of all the dryness from the ends of your hair in order to have nice looking, healthy hair. I don't necessarily see how it helps in the growth of hair either.

cutting the split ends of does not aid hair growth .. but it makes sure the split does not widen all the way up , making your hairy dull, unhealthy and weak

Every 3 months i trim my hair to look healthy, the growth of your hair doesn't involve only the roots of the hair or having healthy scalp, it also adds the tip of the hair. Having split ends may cause your hair more brittle and dry. That's why it is good to trim down those split ends of your hair.

ya cutting the hair end doesnt make any big change to hair growth but we can make it a proper shape to have a better hairstyle and also for maintaining our hair easily, so that it never becomes so long.
