Default Hair Care Tips

If you are always wondering about how to take care of your hair, here are some tips that can help you.

The first tip is to use a shampoo on a regular basis. This helps to keep the hair and the scalp clean. All the dirt and dead cells are removed. It is very important to make sure that the scalp does not develop any type of infection.

The second tip is to rinse the hair in cold water after the shampooing is done. This helps to rinse away all the excess shampoo from the hair. It also makes the hair shaft to close itself. Also at times of rains make it a point to rinse your hair in rain water as it is more natural than the chemically treated natural water.

Using beer to wash the hair is also a good idea. The use of beer according to some people can be a good way to curl them up for good.

Also it would be nice to use herbs soaked in water for the final rinse. This improves the condition of the hair a lot. Rosemary is a good herb to be used this way. Some other natural ingredients that can be applied to the hair are things such as coconut milk that not only leaves a good smell but also conditions the hair.

Talking of a conditioning, one very useful tip is to use a ‘leave in’ conditioner. Such conditioners are to be left in the hair for a few minutes and then should be rinsed away. The conditioners have ingredients that can stay in your hair for a long time without harming them. They work all day to keep the hair healthy and strong.

So use these tips and believe me you will never have a bad hair day again.

Thanks. The coconut and the leave-on conditioners I have already subscribed to. And my hair approved it! ...But as to the beer? ...I have yet to decide!

I do all of the above and my hair is in better shape now than it has ever been. Admittedly, I have only rinsed in beer a couple of times.

I suffer from a very dry scalp, and one thing that has improved it for me is tea tree oil conditioner. I apply a little to my dry hair. Let it sit for about five minutes, then jump in the shower.

I never rinse my hair in cold water! I wash my hair in the shower and would freeze if I rinsed in cold water.

The beer, never heard of that before~ sounds interesting.

Conditioners are essential. If you use a leave in, make sure that you don't put too much on your hair or it will make it greasy.

Beer Now that is the first time I have ever heard of this? Sounds interesting enough. Not sure if I want to try it. I don't want to smell like beer.

I agree Antk- putting too much leave-in conditoner in can make your hair heavy and lifeless too. Same goes for the product to style your hair.

I never heard to rinse in cold water either. Brrrrr

Hi, Neetu1. Thanks for all your wonderful tips. But, the beer is out for me. And rinsing with cold water at the end is a good idea. I will try it. Hopefully, I do not catch cold

Using beer to wash the hair? i can't even imagine that. This is the first time i hear that beer could be used for washing hair, Its quite interesting but scary. In what way does beer help in cleaning or washing the hair? is there any special feature of beer that helps hair washing?

Just kinda to add to the list that you got going:
I have very oily hair so I thought it would be best to never use conditioner. When I went to the salon and got my hair cut and colored, the lady told me that it's really bad for your hair to not use conditioner. After using it again, my hair looks and feels a LOT better.
