Default Hair Coloring

There are different colors to choose from the market when it comes to hair coloring. But hair coloring truly depends on the complexion of your skin, the type of your skin and also your hair type. If you have decided to get your hair colored in a dark shade then believe me it is comparatively easier to hold and maintain. You will notice that the appearance of dark hair is always soft, silky and shiny. Agreed that there are chemical involved in hair colors but there are a less chances of harm caused to the hair with darker shades since it does not involves bleaching. The dark shade is easier to apply but it is not as easy to remove it. There are a lot of limitations in getting a dark shade done on your hair but the result is amazing. And it is always advice able to go in for a semi permanent hair color first. This will not only give you an idea as to how you would look with he dark shade on but also if you get bored with it you can get it changed easily.

You are very right here. I was blonde for a very long time and maintaining it was a real pain. Within about 4 weekd you had to re touch your roots and eventually my hair became really brittle and straw like.

Although the blonde suited me, I switched to a deep rich brown colour which seemed to improve the appearance and texture of my hair.

Hmm I really wanted to have a blonde hair but reading those statements makes me want to stay with my black hair. It also reminded me about some barbie dolls who has those blonde wigs which really tangles easily.

I have gone blonde a few times and every single time, my hair became all dry and lost its luster too. Now I am going for tones that are closer to my natural hair color instead of having to re-touch the roots every few weeks and having to deal with almost dead hair.

When I was still an elementary, my brother and I tried to colored our hair. LOL! Guess what happened? Of course, our mom scolded us. However, it was really beautiful to looked and I really love to view it in front of the mirror. LOL!

Hair coloring gives good looking. But not suitable to all. I do not like hair coloring because i like black color hair only. Depends upon the style and type of your hair to choose the hair color.

Sometimes I feel so boring looking at my black hair. I just wanted to see some changes to it so I always color it whenever there's an oportunity for me to do it.

My hair is naturally a dark blonde and I love dark hair. I tried a dark brown colour once but it made my skin look too pale and everyone thought I was ill!

I think the colours that suit our hair and skin the best are generally those that are just a few shades different from our natural colour.

Default Had to start dying hair at 16

Is there like a disorder that you start to go White At 16 . For graduation I had to go and get my hair done and colored because I looked like I was a grandma
my hair was turning white around the face. And it has not stopped since.

There are also several other dyes that you can use if you do not want to go to the parlor and do it your self . I have seen them at places like Walmart, or Meijer . My mom had me do her hair with one of those and I would say that she looked really good . Hope that this helps

Are you looking to dye it darker or lighter ??? Depending on the red it goes really good when you have dark hair.
If you want streaks of blonde I would suggest a brand called chunking you can usually get it at Walmart. I have used it and it was really good with my hair .

When I was in high school there was a popular hair coloring where you could paint on highlights. I have black hair and I gave it a try in hopes of getting some brown or red highlights. Anyway, when I completed the process, the streaks were bright orange. I was horrified. I went to the store and purchased a dye to cover the orange and the streaks turned "lime green".

When i woke up this morning, i feel like i want to dye my hair into something lighter colour. For so many years i just stick to my dark hair and want some changes now, but with the other post above is it really that hard to maintain your blonde hair? I'm on my way to the mall to buy the hair dye and just so happen i visited the forum and might thinking a second thought now.

Its always nice to see hair with plain black colour, instead of jazzy colours. And a dark blak hair looks so good and elegant. i dont colour my hair, i just leave it as black. And everyone likes it. try black.

LoL love the comment... I would agree that black is a very elegant color but for alot of people it washed their skin out

I LOVE coloring my hair. I think it's just a girl thing.. it's like changing your outfit. I like to change how I look whenever I can. It's pretty fun!! My hair is naturally dark brown, but I've tried:
light brown steaks
blonde streaks
and then I've also mixed blonde, brown and red streaks.

The red in there made things really fun, and my hair looked really shiny in the sun
