Instead of using conditioner which is available in the market, you can apply egg and rinse your hair after 30 minutes, it will work as a natural conditioner and also gives your hair good volume!

Do you use the whole egg? Like scramble it up, or just the egg white? Doesn't it make your hair sticky if you leave it in for 30 minutes? |

even after 15 mins or so, your face gets all cracked up. egg white is not as bad as yolk...less thick...but i do not use eggs anymore... |

Egg is good as long as the protein doesn't make your hair brittle. Since it is all protein, be sure to combine it with something that softens the hair.

I have never tried using eggs, but I remember grandma telling me that it was what they used when there were no conditioners. Does it work well for longer hair, too?

I just read an article about making your own shampoo and it said to put an egg in it. I guess it must be good for your hair. You put the egg yolk right on your face, like for a mask? |

I just remember at Halloween not caring if someone threw egg in your hair, because it's good for it. Most people used shaving cream on Halloween- some used eggs! I have never tried it and I don't like the thought of putting an egg on my head. |

I have heard it so many times that egg is a good hair conditioner, but i have not had it in me, to put egg into my hair, it kind of makes me feel a bit yuk, so although its very beneficial i think i will be left out from this great tip.

1.First of all an egg yolk makes a great conditioner for your hair. Simply mix it with 2 tsp of a castor oil and massage into your hair. Rinse thoroughly. 2.One raw egg... Whisk one or two raw eggs together and then work into your hair. Allow to dry and then shampoo out, followed by a vinegar and water rinse. This treatment will soften your hair nicely. |

That sounds like a wonderful suggestion. I suppose the protein that egg contains helps hair to strengthen - although, I must say, it seems a little messy. I just hope it comes off easy with the shampooing.

hi, its really good... Egg Conditioner- This is one of the most common natural hair conditioners that are used by people. This conditioner has no side effects and is really good for hair. For making this conditioner you will require 1 teaspoon of baby oil, 1 cup of water and 1 egg yolk. After this best the egg yolk till it gets frothy. Once it is frothy add the baby oil and beat it again. Finally add it to water and apply the solution in your scalp. Massage the conditioner throughout your hair and scalp. Then rinse it off with water. _________ zen |

Hair conditioner is cheaper, neater, and probably gives a better result over all than egg. If I were going to use it, I'd make sure it was strained and well beaten first, to get that stringy part out. And I'd always wonder if I rinsed it all out.

That's an awesome fact, I never thought of egg being used as an alternative to conditioner. But I can't imagine putting it on my hair, maybe I would at least try it to see if results turn out good.

I know spreading egg white on your face is a good facial toner. It's said to tighten the skin and closes the pores. Hmmm. Think I'll go and do that right now. i need some tightening up |

I tried to use egg as my conditioner but I can't take it. It leaves small residues in my hair so I need to shampoo it twice and put a real conditioner on it. For me, it doesn't suited me.
