Default Red spots

I got my bikini line done (waxed) this morning and I went to a different salon than normal, this place is all new so everything is spic and span and the products the girl used are the same as the other salon I go to, thing is I have broken out in loads of little red spots and they are quite sore, is there a reason this happened ? is it just my sensitive skin ? Please tell me they'll go away ?

Yes, those red spots go away after a little while. Skin is very sensitive in certain areas and red spots are very common. Don't worry about it, you'll be fine very soon.

OUCH!!

I bet your skin was just reacting to the waxing in a sensitive area. I would make sure to put some vasaline or neosporin on the area to help moisturize it.

Oh it took ages for them to go away, I am thinking it was a reaction to the way she waxed me, I sure won't be returning to her again. I'll stick to who I know best.

It happens to me when I shave, too, if I don't use my special "anti-red-bump" soap. The soap is very good, I use it before and after shaving, and those dreaded red spots never show up. Perhaps you could use some next time, when you come home after waxing.

What kind of soap do you use Lissy, 'cause I get those bumps too, and have been looking for a reliable product to try.

Apply some vaseline to the affected area and the red bumps should disappear within the next couple of days. You must have had a reaction to the products even though you mentioned they were the same as the other place.

It is called "Bikini Zone Anti-Bumps Shave Gel" - comes in a plastic tube. It foams like soap, and it is very good for shaving, but you need to remember to apply some again after shaving, for extra protection. The first time I used it, I did not do that, and I did get some red spots afterward.

I could have the same problem, but it will vanish with in one or two days after waxing. For some persons it will create allergy.

It means your skin is very sensitive and more care should be taken for hair removal in your case, its better if you will stop using the chemical methods, waxing and threading and try natural herbal products.
