I could be wrong, but a week doesn't sound that bad. I don't know anything about wax, but I do recall bein told that it takes one-two weeks for hair to start growing back.

First of all you should make sure you know what cream is being used, as no ordinary hair removal cream should be used for the bikini line area! Secondly the hair does grow back quickly, I mean within a week you should begin to see some hairs.

You can simply get the bikini area waxed which would be better for the hair and skin and last slightly longer than the cream.

I would talk to a doctor to see how safe it is, but laser hair removal is available. However, I've heard it's very expensive and you must go in for many treatments for the hair to never grow back again

I used a hair removal cream called Crotex. They said it will get rid of unwanted hair permanently so i gave it a try. Even after a month there is no signs of growth. crotexcream.com

Its good that there is no hair after one month, but the question is how long with you last hair free. I think if its more than a month say about 2-3 months then its a good hair removal cream.
