Default Bad Reaction

My friend has had a terrible reaction to a hair removal cream 'down there'. She has come out in an incredibly sore and hot rash that is rubbing on her clothes.

Is there anything she can do to ease the burning sensation, any creams or lotions?

Why do'nt you try soothing lotions there are plenty of creams in the market .Try a herbal one or you can apply rose water which provides cooling sensation.
My advice is to wash your hands with an antiseptic soap or a liquid(Dettol) after you remove your with hair removing cream .Which will help you to stop the reaction caused by it.

I would use something anti-bacterial, like the Triple Ointment salve.

There are special cremes to use after hair removal, they help to soothe the skin and prevent rash / red bumps.

Aloe Vera can help but I don't recommend anything else as it is a very thin layer of skin. Products that contain perfume or alcohol can further worsen the rash. It is best to keep the area clean and free of any lotions or creams and wear cotton undergarments until the soreness subsides.

Using talcum powder before dressing up would keep the area dry. Antibacterial powder is also a good option, keeping affected area dry & also preventing infection. Take bath regularly & avoid hot water.

I second ButterflyEs with Aloe Vera. However, I'm not sure if it is okay to use that down there.
