Hi, I'm facing an issue from around 1 month that there's itching/soaring around anal area. I'm visiting a general surgeon and taking medicine for it but not finding any improvement. He was doubting piles and was giving medicine for it. This week he confirmed that it's not piles but still asked to continue medicine for 1 month. But my original problem is still there. I want to try another doctor but not sure whom to consult, whether I should go for physician, or skin doctor or another general surgeon. Can somebody please help me? I'm really worried about this problem. My age is 27, just in case it helps to zero-in in the problem. Thanks a lot in advance |

Can somebody please respond? Even if I can get advise as to which kind of doctor I should consult then also it'll be really helpful. Being a girl I feel embarrassing to go to multiple doctors and discuss/show the problem. So please provide proper guidance. Thanks a lot. |
