Default Period is not stable!

Dear Girls,

does anyone have the same problem?
My period is so messy! one time it is 28 days another time it is 46 days. ans usually it is about 36-38 days.
and it is never the same number of days!
Why so?

well, its always been like thins since the day one. i was 13 back then and now im 24.....

Does anyone know why it is like this? is it dangerous? is it curable ?

Thank you =)

Yaniya, there may be many causes to this problem, as an unstable period can mean you have hormonal problems, pcod, cyst or some other problem. Its best to visit your doctor and explain this as its important, and she will ask you to do some tests to find out the reason for this problem.

The problem is curable, as soon the cause is found out.

Like Neha has mentioned there can be many problems for the irregularity of your periods, and thyroid is one among many others.

Although you should have consulted your doctor about this a long time before (well actually when your periods first started), its still not late, but do go visit your doctor asap, to find out the cause for this the problem in the irregularity of your periods.

You may be suffering from PCOS or even thyroid problem, which are two main causes of irregular periods.

My daughter started getting irregular periods, then when tested she found out that she had a thyroid problem (hypothyroidism).
