Yes, it is pretty amazing. I guess a certain new hormon starts being produced by the woman's body when she gets pregnant, almost right away, and it can be detected in the urine very early. In my case, the pregnancy test worked very well, both when I thought I might be pregnant and I wasn't, and then when I did get pregnant. The test was correct each time.

I guess I had some pretty crazy ideas in my head as to how it actually worked. I never once considered hormones or anything. I thought that maybe the test was picking up on some sperm or something. Like I said, crazy ideas.
