Is anybody here experiencing dysmenorrhea while menstruating? I do, and it is really painful that I cannot ignore it. I always have mefenamic acid tablets with me because I wouldn't be okay without it. Plain rest doesn't alleviate the pain, neither the distraction method. Warm compress are great but I cannot have warm compress all the time especially when I am at work. |

I do sometimes and it hurts like hell! I can't do anything but stay in bed or curl up in the couch all day. My self-esteem is at its very low during these days.

I have never experienced it but I wonder though, have you ever asked your doctor if there were any other remedies for this? It must be tough going through it every month after all.

| Good for you then! How I wish I wouldn't experience this anymore! It's very painful, I tell you. I have asked a doctor about it and told me that it's natural to have dysmenorrhea for the first two days. But if the pain is persistent and lasts more than 2 days, then that's the time I should return to her.
