Default Dymenorrhea

Is anybody here experiencing dysmenorrhea while menstruating?

I do, and it is really painful that I cannot ignore it. I always have mefenamic acid tablets with me because I wouldn't be okay without it. Plain rest doesn't alleviate the pain, neither the distraction method. Warm compress are great but I cannot have warm compress all the time especially when I am at work.

I do sometimes and it hurts like hell! I can't do anything but stay in bed or curl up in the couch all day. My self-esteem is at its very low during these days.

I have never experienced it but I wonder though, have you ever asked your doctor if there were any other remedies for this? It must be tough going through it every month after all.

Good for you then! How I wish I wouldn't experience this anymore! It's very painful, I tell you. I have asked a doctor about it and told me that it's natural to have dysmenorrhea for the first two days. But if the pain is persistent and lasts more than 2 days, then that's the time I should return to her.
