Default Relieving the Pain without Medicine

During your period what do you do to relieve the pain? Do most people use medicine? I used medicine once and then decided that I wouldn't use medicine again. When I'm on my period, I don't eat until I'm completely sure that all of the pain has passed. When the pain is at its most painful, and I can't take it anymore, I go to sleep for at least an hour, laying on my stomach. When I wake up, I feel better.

Is relieving the pain more complicated or simplier for you?

What is the cause of this pain? I am very fortunate that I don't experience it during my menstruation period but my sister does. She would do some stretching and it's quite helpful for her. As much as possible, when the pain is bearable, she doesn't take medicine. I would see her walking around and sometimes laying in her bed. You should eat good foods too.

I think the pain has something to do with the muscles in the body or something like that. I'm not that sure. I just know that it hurts. It's real torture. Food only makes the pain worse for me. Once I walked to the grocery store, thinking that the cool air and exercise would be good for me, but I almost passed out.

My pains are pretty mild. I just have chamomile tea and it really helps.

If your cramps are really bad try holding a hot water bottle to your stomache for a little while.

In the past, I've taken hot baths, but it doesn't do much than irritate me. I wonder if my body has become more responsive to hot water since then. What will heat do? Could that be helpful?
