Has anyone ever woken up one morning and just know that you were going to have your period that day? This happens to me every month. When I asked my mom, she told me that she never knows when she is going to be on her period. For me, there's a feeling of heaviness in my stomach long before I see blood.

I get that every month too. Although for me, it is a feeling of being bloated all over along with the pressure on my lower abdomen. Funny thing is, once I get my period, I never have any cramps, discomfort or anything that would remotely remind me that it's still there.

I think that many women who are sensitive to their bodies know when they're going to have their period because the body undoubtedly does go through changes during that time of the month. There are however some women for whom these changes are not so obvious and who have very few accompanying symptoms during menstruation, so these are the ones who don't really know beforehand - unless they resort to a calendar - when it's time for their menstrual period again

Yeah, I have that lower abdomen pressure, too. I even have a pain that resembles hunger, but I know better. If I give in to hunger, I will regret it. I'm glad that at least knowing in the morning that I'll be having my period later that day will save me some amount of pain.

I feel a slight lower abdomen pressure and then it's as if my uh... seems open..it's like it's preparing for the menstrual flow. When I feel these, I immediately run to the bathroom and check if I have my period already.. and then I prepare my pain killer.
